PowerUps Marketplace: buy & sell weapons for your BlockBots
PowerUps NFTs are weapons and accessories that can be equipped on your BlockBots for our upcoming Play-to-Earn game. The PowerUps Marketplace was built FOR the BotFam, so you can exchange PowerUps with 0 platform/royalty fees. Here is a short guide on how to get started!
BlockBots is a deflationary NFT collection of 3D Voxels Avatars! These NFTs will also be used in the BlockBout play-to-earn game where owners will fight their BlockBots to win PowerUps and IND tokens.
PowerUps are ERC1155 non-fungible tokens that will give your BlockBots a temporary power booster during battles, learn more here.
Before using the PowerUps Marketplace, you’ll need to acquire some IND, the token used for the BlockBots ecosystem!
Acquiring IND/MATIC pair on Sushiswap
The PowerUps collection has been set on the Polygon blockchain in order to avoid high Ethereum gas fees. With Polygon, the gas fees associated with your transactions are minimal.
To get IND on the Polygon network, follow these simple steps:
- Connect your Metamask wallet to the Polygon Mainnet (MATIC network)
- Click HERE to view IND MATIC on Sushiswap
- Swap MATIC for IND
Buy & sell PowerUps
Now that you have IND tokens on MATIC, you are ready to start trading on the PowerUps Marketplace! You will be able to buy & sell PowerUps with NO platform/royalty fees (as opposed to the approximately 7.5% fee on OpenSea).
PowerUps have varying rarity: common, rare, epic, & legendary. These weapons & accessories also have different properties and power levels. The rarer the weapon, the more damage will be inflicted to your opponent in the game!
On the marketplace, you can buy & sell any PowerUp you would like for your BlockBot. It works the same way as most NFT marketplaces: you can ‘buy now’, ‘make an offer’, or create a listing with ‘sell’.
BlockBots HODLers
Back in November 2021, all the BlockBots owners were airdropped 2 PowerUps. Owners of these PowerUps can either keep them to use in the game or sell the PowerUps on the marketplace.
PowersUps Utilities
Before the release of the BlockBouts Play-to-earn game, you can equip and try out your PowerUps on your BlockBots.
- Simply connect your wallet to the BlockBots Dashboard and select the different weapons and accessories that you own.
- Check out how the different weapons look on your BlockBots. Beautiful isn’t it?
With the Dashboard you can create new PFPs: your weapons will give your BlockBot a badass look! You have plenty of options when it comes to gearing up: AK47, Magical Staff, Mythical Trident, Occult Shield, Missile Launcher, and more…
The main use of the PowerUps will be to improve your chances of winning fights in the BlockBouts game. BlockBouts will be a web-based play-to-earn game, where BlockBots users will compete in epic battles to win PowerUps and IND tokens!
