Launch of BlockBots — a 3D Voxel NFT avatar project
Indorse is delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new NFT project called ‘BlockBots’ (https://blockbots.gg/) consisting of a deflationary collection of 9,998 unique NFT avatars on the Ethereum blockchain! Each BlockBot is a 3D Voxel avatar with specific traits that can be used across Metaverses, games and more. BlockBots are not just awesome looking avatars, they have a deeper purpose; let us take you through the origins of BlockBots…
In a metaverse not so far away
Forty years have passed since the first DeFi and NFT summer! Blockchain succeeded in tokenizing the planet’s assets but this process brought havoc as it paved the way for evil autonomous systems to take full control! Now our planet Earth is ruled by AI overlords. The lastest evil plan of the AI overlords is to destroy all human life in a few weeks, by Doom’s Day. Time is of the essence!
Amidst this dystopian nightmare, a secret underground movement has now emerged, with a single mission — to fight back and defeat the AI Overlords
- Founding members are drawn from hardcore degens and HODLers from the early 2020s.
- Its inspiration comes from the NFT projects of yore!
- To blend in with the robots undetected, humans have created a new weapon: the BlockBots!
We are sending out this call to all remaining humans on this forsaken planet: the resistance is alive. Join us!
The initial sale of the Blockbots collection will launch in a few weeks. To save human life on the planet BlockBots need to be active before Doom’s Day.
The Indorse team is currently working hard on building a dedicated community around the project and finalising the technical aspects of the Smart Contracts, 3D art of the BlockBots universe and a range of cool traits, amongst other things. For this, we have partnered with some fantastic 3D artists; who have already created some amazing designs, which you can find on the BlockBots website.
How will IND tokens interact with this new NFT project?
IND tokens will be an integral part of this new NFT project and will be usable across the multi-faceted universe we are building for BlockBots. BlockBots will become a major source of utility for the IND tokens.
Some examples of how IND tokens can be used with BlockBots:
- Preference for IND token holders, IND stakers through our staking contract, and the DRA at the time of the BlockBots collection sale. These preferential conditions will be limited to a subsection of the NFT collection.
- Block-bouts game — following the collection sale we plan to work on the release of the Block-bouts game which will allow the players to engage their Blockbots in fights against other bots. Players will be able to use IND tokens to reinforce their bots with power-ups such as weapons, shields, magic potions and the like.
- Name your BlockBot — BlockBot owners will be able to use IND tokens to personalise their Blockbots, for example by changing the names of their bots. A portion of the IND tokens collected as a result of this activity would be burned. As the project progresses, we plan to develop and announce more “adventures’’ for your Blockbots, thus providing even more avenues for existing IND tokens holders to engage with this new universe!
