We are delighted to announce that Indorse will be working with Metalinq as an exclusive service provider for its project centred around Metaverse interoperability. While Indorse will continue to undertake its other commitments and support its existing partners and projects, Metalinq will now be the primary focus for the Indorse team going forward as it recognises the exceptional opportunity the emerging trillion-dollar+ Metaverse industry presents.

About Metalinq

Metalinq is a Layer 3 protocol which enables interoperability between various Metaverses, NFTs and P2E games. The Metalinq protocol is blockchain agnostic and integrates multiple NFT standards across various Layer 1 and 2 blockchain protocols. It is conceptually similar to how email uses SMTP as a protocol that sits on top of the internet’s TCP/IP layer and transmits data.

Metalinq has already secured USD 250,000 in pre-seed funding from investors, including Coinsilium Group, and is now in talks with other investors to complete its seed funding round.

Metalinq also plans to launch the $MLINQ token in 2023. Exact timings are yet to be specified and will be subject to market conditions and certain project development milestones being successfully achieved. More information on this will be released during the token launch run-up.

As part of its $MLINQ token allocation, existing IND token holders will be eligible to receive $MLINQ tokens on a 1–1 basis for each IND token they hold and will be able to claim their $MLINQ tokens via a claim mechanism following specific criteria to be announced by Metalinq at a later date. A snapshot of IND token holders was taken on 21st June 2022. This should be considered as the “cut-off” date for all IND holders for their entitlement to receive future $MLINQ tokens. Further details will be announced in due course.

BlockBots and Metalinq

Metalinq is a protocol that will enable interoperability between NFTs, Metaverses and P2E games. Once the Metalinq protocol is ready, BlockBots will be one of the first P2E games to use the protocol, effectively acting as a POC (Proof of Concept) for the Metalinq protocol.

Once the BlockBots v1 is ready, the Indorse team will then start working on securing partnerships with other similar P2E games and creating interoperable games by leveraging the Metalinq tech.

Moreover, all BlockBots holders will be eligible for a $MLINQ claim/airdrop following the criteria to be set out at the token launch.
