Smart Contracts, Blockchain bots and Whitepaper 2.0…

We have two great developments in the last few days — finishing up of our Connections Smart Contract, and the successful launch of the Blockchain 101 badge campaign. The Smart Contract has been through a few iterations already, and we are ready to send it out for a formal security audit and then a public bug bounty. You can find more information about the Blockchain 101 bot here. Information about the public bug bounty will be announced in the coming week. Meanwhile, we continue our work on the white paper 2.0.

As a company, we have two clear directions and development efforts right now — the first is skills validation and the second is company pages, which we are starting with the advisor validations. While the development efforts are going on in these two directions, the marketing and business development teams are also working hard towards achieving this vision. On the side of skills validation, the Blockchain 101 badge is our first step. Those who can answer some basic questions about Blockchain will get a badge on their Indorse profile. This is being done through the means of a chatbot and also a typeform.

On the other hand, our business development team has been getting some really good response about the company page and advisor validations. Through the meetups and conferences that they attend, we have received interest from several companies to use this feature, and also valuable feedback about new and upcoming features and the UX.

Jack, Haresh and Rick have been working on hammering out the Connections Smart Contract, which would enable us to trustlessly verify that the advisors are actually associated with the companies. While the Truffle test suite for Solidity is almost done, we will finish up the Javascript test suite this week before sending out for the formal audit.

Scaling up Indorseans

We have also made offers to two new Indorseans. One of them is a Full Stack Engineer, specialising in Javascript. He will be mainly working on the Front-end of the application.

We have also made another offer to a UI/UX professional. Both of them will be joining us in the next month most probably. At that point, we will have a total team of 18 people, out of which, 12 will be working on product side.
