BlockBots is a Play-to-Earn (P2E) strategy game that involves idle PVP battles. The game revolves around tactical decisions and preparations. We’re kickstarting the public Alpha version with an epic Free-to-Play Tournament that will begin on 19 April! Lasting for 2 weeks, the tournament will include a prize pool of $33,000+ & 50 NFTs. Players have multiple chances to win and actively monitor their progress with an action-packed leaderboard composed of the best BlockBot players.
Prepare for Battle — Time to Strategize!
When players first enter the game, they will be welcomed with a game mode screen, in which they can pick what type of match they want to participate in. For the Public Alpha, the only game mode available will be the Exhibition Match. During the Free-to-Play Tournament, this will be where players can earn ETH and NFTs!
Choosing Your Weapons (aka PowerUps)
PowerUps are the weapons and items that can be equipped to BlockBots to enhance their base attributes during battle. You can acquire them on the PowerUps Marketplace.
- Health Points — magic items
Increases the total Health Points Attribute of your BlockBot - Strength — swords
Increases the total Strength Attribute of your BlockBot - Defence — shields & large swords
Increases the total Defence Attribute of your BlockBot - Agility — guns
Increases the total Agility Attribute of your BlockBot
Other Key information on Power-Ups
- Each PowerUp can only be equipped once at a time (if you own two Combat Shield, you can only equip one of them on your BlockBot for a single fight)
- Each PowerUp can directly influence an Attribute, Action or the Evade/Critical Chance formula
Players can only equip:
- 1x Legendary PowerUp per time
- 2x Epic PowerUps per time
- 3x Rare PowerUps per time
- 5x Common / Base Power-Ups per time
Selecting Your Actions
The second part of the strategy game is to pre-select the actions that your BlockBots will take during the 1v1 battle! You will have a choice of 5 actions that will be performed in sequential order:
- Attack 🗡️
- Fast Attack 🥊
- Block 🛡️
- Evade 💨
- Boost 💪
Make sure to select the right action based on the power of your BlockBot and the equipped PowerUps!
1v1 Battle — Watch Your Strategy Unfold!
Each battle lasts around 30–35 seconds, involving no direct action by the player. All the actions will unfold automatically based on the strategy selected before the fight. The players with the best tactical nouns, and who chose ingenious PowerUps combinations, should come out of the arena with a win!
